If you are afraid that the new “Clutter” folder in your email inbox will catch the some of the good email with the bad, and you want to take control, OIT found a link to help with that.

For me, I noticed that all of the “Alerts” about traffic and possible floods ended up in Clutter. I cheered briefly but then I feared that the important alerts–such as campus lock downs–would end up there too.

However, Marcus Rosano–the chief of MC public relations and media communications–said that “MC Urgent” emails are sent under a different system. Unfortunately, the college had to issue an urgent message from the TPSS campus a day later. The good news there is that MC Urgent did not end up my “Clutter” folder.
